Meet our Founder

Hi, I'm Deidre Harding. I've been a teacher for over 15 years helping to mold the next generation in Jamaica and the United States. I'm also a mother, and an advocate for children with diverse learning needs, including my own child with autism. I've experienced both the tears of pain and the tears of joy on this journey, and it's inspired me to create a safe, nurturing space where every child can thrive.

I founded Harding Academy in Jamaica to provide children, including my own, with the support, love, and encouragement they need to grow academically, socially, and emotionally. The name "Harding" is more than a family name; it represents support when I needed it most, with my parents and only brother being my greatest pillars of strength.

How To Enroll

Enroll in 3 Steps

We've made enrollment straightforward so you can focus on what matters most - your child. From your first consultation to your child's first day, we'll guide you through each step with care and clarity.

Book a one-on-one meeting with our team to discuss your child's unique needs, strengths, and learning goals. This is your opportunity to share your concerns, ask questions about our programs, and learn how we can support your child's development.

We'll set up an in-person observation visit where we spend time with your child to understand to understand their abilities and learning style. Please bring any medical reports, previous school records, or evaluations you have. Our specialists will review everything to ensure we can provide the right support for your child.

Once we confirm that our school is the right fit, you'll complete the enrollment paperwork and receive conditional acceptance. We'll let you know when placement is confirmed so you can pay the registration Fee to secure your child's spot.

We'll create a special learning plan just for your child, so they're ready to thrive from their very first day. Through daily structured learning and close collaboration with you, we'll help to get your child ready for the next stage of their educational journey.
